Je tiens \u00e0 remercier et \u00e0 saluer l&#039;\u00e9quipe de ressources de leadership de WESTAF (Adam, Amy, Christina, Chrissy, Leah et Seyan) pour avoir continu\u00e9 leur important travail de budg\u00e9tisation, de planification, de gestion des entreprises, de maintenance de la technologie, d&#039;entretien des candidats DoPP et de gestion de l&#039;\u00e9quipe pendant mon absence. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 si attentionn\u00e9s, collaboratifs et productifs, et m&#039;ont permis de rester engag\u00e9 et sur mes gardes pendant mon absence du bureau. Cette bimensuelle leur est d\u00e9di\u00e9e !<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">BUDG\u00c9TISATION DE WESTAF<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Nous avons termin\u00e9 une premi\u00e8re \u00e9bauche du budget de l\u2019exercice 2020 de la WESTAF ! L\u2019\u00e9quipe de direction travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec les responsables du budget pour peaufiner le budget avant la date limite d\u2019ao\u00fbt. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, nous pr\u00e9voyons de travailler sur de nombreuses versions, mais ce travail avance \u00e0 un rythme soutenu et est sur la bonne voie. Un grand bravo \u00e0 LRT pour avoir su se montrer \u00e0 la hauteur pendant cette p\u00e9riode de transition parfois confuse et incertaine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">DIRECTEUR DE LA RECHERCHE EN POLITIQUES PUBLIQUES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re s\u00e9lection de neuf candidats potentiels, la LRT a pass\u00e9 la semaine derni\u00e8re \u00e0 interviewer quatre finalistes de grande qualit\u00e9. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s le cong\u00e9 du 4 juillet, nous pr\u00e9voyons de mettre la derni\u00e8re main \u00e0 ce processus et de faire une offre au candidat retenu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">COMIT\u00c9 D&#039;ENGAGEMENT COMMUNAUTAIRE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Il y a un mouvement bienvenu et attendu depuis longtemps au bureau pour d\u00e9velopper un comit\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9vole (similaire \u00e0 notre comit\u00e9 de bien-\u00eatre) qui identifierait et rechercherait des moyens pour que l&#039;\u00e9quipe WESTAF s&#039;implique davantage dans la communaut\u00e9 cr\u00e9ative de Denver. Plusieurs membres de l&#039;\u00e9quipe sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 impliqu\u00e9s dans des initiatives communautaires de Denver de diverses mani\u00e8res - ce comit\u00e9 aidera \u00e0 approuver et \u00e0 soutenir ces efforts existants et \u00e9galement \u00e0 envisager de nouveaux efforts, \u00e0 impliquer davantage de membres de l&#039;\u00e9quipe et \u00e0 aider \u00e0 accro\u00eetre la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 de WESTAF et de son travail au sein de la ville dynamique dans laquelle nous avons notre si\u00e8ge. Merci Leah d&#039;avoir dirig\u00e9 cela !<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">VOYAGE EN CALIFORNIE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Just completing a productive swing through California this past few weeks \u2014 first at the Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit in Los Angeles (it was great to spend a little time with trustee Roy Agloinga, who was also in attendance!), then a wonderful visit with WESTAF trustee Nikiko Masumoto at the Masumoto Family Farm near Fresno (thank you, Nikiko for the hospitality!), then on to Calavaras County for a California Arts Council meeting where I gave a presentation that seemed to be well-received by CAC council members, then some productive meetings in Sacramento. Deepened relationship with CAC ED Anne Bown-Crawford and members of her staff, as well as CFTA ED Julie Baker, a productivel planning lunch with Vice Chair Tamara Alvarado (thank you Tamara for making the trip to San Andreas!). Good meetings along the way with WESTAF friends Shannon Daut, as well as Lucero Arrellano (who took me to an inspiring arts collective space in Sacramento \u2014 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solcollective.org\/\">Sol Collective<\/a>)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"> and Sacramento CFTA lobbyist Jason Schmeltzer (who\u2019s work is funded by WESTAF). This business trip was bookended by some personal time \u2014 my dad\u2019s 90th Birthday party (went off without a hitch!) and this weekend I\u2019ll be attending a friend\u2019s wedding at the legendary <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sea_Ranch,_California\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sea Ranch<\/span><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">on the California Coast. Nous lancerons notre premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape \u2013 recherche et d\u00e9couverte \u2013 apr\u00e8s notre prochaine r\u00e9union le 1er juillet 2019. Nous d\u00e9terminerons les r\u00f4les et le leadership de l&#039;\u00e9quipe lors de notre prochaine r\u00e9union en fonction des besoins per\u00e7us pour la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">MISE \u00c0 JOUR MARKETING\/COMMUNICATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Americans for the Arts Convention Update<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">: <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Leah connected with many friends of WESTAF at the annual AFTA Convention (Matt Wilson, Teniqua Broughton, Shannon Daut, Mitch Menchaca, Rusty Foley, Tom Simplot, Mary Ann Carter, Michael Orlove, Ann Bown-Crawford, and Pam Breaux, among others) as well as a few current CVSuite clients and a couple existing leads. We generated a handful of new leads for CVSuite from the convention, and there was considerable interest around PAA&#8217;s new Collection Management Tool at the Pre-Con. Many other attendees visiting our exhibitor table commented on how much they love CaFE&#8217;s recent improvements. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">FY20 Marketing Communications Planning<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">: Leah is plugging away on WESTAF&#8217;S FY20 Master MarComm Plan, which outlines marketing initiatives and goals that align with the FY20: Earned Income Product Expenses Business Strategy. The plan presents marketing goals and strategies for each technology product (excluding ZAPPlication), as well as marketing and communications for WESTAF\u2019s programs and services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">R\u00c9UNION DE D\u00c9VELOPPEMENT PROFESSIONNEL WESTAF SAAPAD<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">A mighty WESTAF team of Madalena Salazar, Chrissy Deal, Seyan Lucero and Sam Ortega oversaw the June 3-4, WESTAF convened 20+ performing arts directors and heads of presenting booking consortia from the region for our annual SAAPAD meeting. The group kicked things off with a tour and conversation with leadership and staff at <a href=\"https:\/\/cleoparkerdance.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cleo Parker Robinson Dance<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">, one of Denver&#8217;s cultural hubs and renowned dance company rooted in the Black\/African American community. Caitlin Strokosch, Executive Director of National Performance Network (NPN) shared ways the organization is operationalizing equity through their artist and peer networks, convenings and conferences. Oregon ELC15 alum Candace Kita, Cultural Work Manager at Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (<a href=\"http:\/\/apano.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">APANO<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">), also engaged the group in an exercise that examines how power plays out in our organizations&#8217;\/agencies missions. Chrissy is looking to build on this year&#8217;s model of exchange between attendees and site visit for 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">CONSEIL EN INCLUSION ET \u00c9QUIT\u00c9<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Chrissy collabore avec le personnel de deux personnes et le groupe de travail sur l&#039;\u00e9quit\u00e9 du Zoo, Arts &amp; Parks du comt\u00e9 de Salt Lake, dans l&#039;Utah, depuis fin 2018, sur leur initiative d&#039;inclusion et d&#039;\u00e9quit\u00e9. Il existe plusieurs pistes prometteuses et nous esp\u00e9rons pouvoir envoyer des offres \u00e0 ces personnes qualifi\u00e9es, mais le march\u00e9 est tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9titif. Nous avons rencontr\u00e9 et n\u00e9goci\u00e9 un contrat initial avec un fournisseur de business intelligence int\u00e9gr\u00e9 et nous nous efforcerons d&#039;accro\u00eetre nos efforts pour donner aux programmes un meilleur acc\u00e8s et une meilleure visibilit\u00e9 sur leurs donn\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">MISE \u00c0 JOUR SUR LA D\u00c9FENSE DES DROITS F\u00c9D\u00c9RAUX<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Le 25 juin, la Chambre des repr\u00e9sentants des \u00c9tats-Unis a approuv\u00e9 un financement de 167,5 millions de livres sterling pour l\u2019exercice 2020 au National Endowment for the Arts, soit une augmentation de 12,5 millions de livres sterling par rapport au niveau de financement de l\u2019exercice 2019 (155 millions de livres sterling). L&#039;\u00e9quipe travaille \u00e9galement \u00e0 la num\u00e9risation de son formulaire de demande d&#039;appel et \u00e0 la refonte du nouveau processus de configuration des appels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">ARCHIVES D&#039;ART PUBLIC<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Les Archives d&#039;art public ont lanc\u00e9 leur nouveau site Web et mis \u00e0 jour les pages de pr\u00e9sentation de la collection \u00e0 la mi-mai et ont re\u00e7u des commentaires positifs de la part de leurs coll\u00e8gues du domaine. En juin, Lani Morris de l&#039;\u00e9quipe CaFE a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la PAA \u00e0 la pr\u00e9conf\u00e9rence sur l&#039;art public de l&#039;AFTA \u00e0 Minneapolis, et l&#039;\u00e9quipe a re\u00e7u de nombreuses demandes de renseignements concernant le syst\u00e8me de gestion des collections depuis l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement. San Antonio paie $3 800 \u00e0 $5 600 pour un processus d&#039;importation de donn\u00e9es. Trois mises \u00e0 jour majeures du processus de panel ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es la semaine derni\u00e8re : Champs de date d&#039;ouverture et de fermeture ajout\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;onglet Panels &gt; Configurer le panel.
