Beaucoup d&#039;activit\u00e9s, mais voici quelques points saillants : <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Lancement du plan strat\u00e9gique !<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">On Wednesday 5\/29 and Thursday 5\/30, the WESTAF team formally launched their Ten Year Vision and Strategic Plan! This consisted of a \u201cStratPlan Faire,\u201d which included training around <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Rbjj3PKhbX7PhRVi9gySPanLctcVmv3WpltUnYBFJSs\/edit\">this Agenda<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">, and focusing in on this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1mz4JeEH75sdw2AkUwV4Ltm9Sf_pQbUSpGusTKkJRGpc\/edit?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strategic Plan Cohort FAQ<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">. Each <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">i<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/14jJYGi-VECWv4nmTkWmRro3flrm8L3aay5sXPq5c7xE\/edit?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ndividual cohort<\/span><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">split up into their group together for the first time to self-organize and also to review a preliminary Scoping Document (in this case, the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1FeSzWAOLMuDcPQLMQcO6Cv-rPmo0XMonfVLSdIUZ6V0\/edit?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thought Leadership &amp; Reach\/Communications Scoping Doc<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">, and to ultimately develop their own. However, the real highlight of the two-day session was valuable coaching and group development and leadership time spent with <a href=\"https:\/\/wellsstreet.com\/about\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Val Atkin<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">, who dived into some warmly received and immensely helpful Enneagram work as well as some other discussions and team exercises around concepts like \u201c100% Responsibility,\u201d \u201cThe Cost of Quiet,\u201d \u201cTeam Optimization,\u201d and <a href=\"https:\/\/conscious.is\/video\/locating-yourself-a-key-to-conscious-leadership\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAbove\/Below The Line\u201d<\/span><\/a> <\/span>work. At the conclusion of the agenda and this invaluable team-building time, we celebrated the launch of this ten-year plan with happy hour at a local restaurant and an <span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1--EmNveCuNa9d5XmOA4Fs8NFDotIMTzC\/view?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cofficial\u201d fun ribbon-cutting moment<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">! <\/span><b><i>(If you only look at one link, look at this one!)<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b><i> <\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Le 30 mai 2019, le plan strat\u00e9gique de WESTAF a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement lanc\u00e9 (ouah !). La prochaine mise \u00e0 jour importante sera faite par chaque cohorte lors de la r\u00e9union du conseil d&#039;administration d&#039;octobre \u00e0 Denver !<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Progr\u00e8s de la BAR CAT<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">L&#039;\u00e9quipe de direction a compil\u00e9 des descriptions de poste mises \u00e0 jour pour ses \u00e9quipes dans le nouveau mod\u00e8le BAR CAT et travaillera avec ses \u00e9quipes sur ces changements d&#039;ici octobre, date \u00e0 laquelle la nouvelle structure sera mise en \u0153uvre. La direction et les chefs de projet de WESTAF commencent le processus de budg\u00e9tisation pour l&#039;exercice 2020. La premi\u00e8re \u00e9bauche pr\u00e9liminaire sera compil\u00e9e d&#039;ici le 21 juin afin que la direction puisse ensuite travailler avec ses \u00e9quipes pour effectuer les ajustements n\u00e9cessaires afin d&#039;obtenir une \u00e9bauche \u00e0 partager avec le tr\u00e9sorier en ao\u00fbt et le comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif en septembre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Principes directeurs<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Nous remercions les administrateurs de la r\u00e9union du conseil d&#039;administration de Bozeman en mai pour leur aide pr\u00e9cieuse et leurs commentaires sur les nouveaux principes directeurs de WESTAF. Cet exercice a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement utile et a permis d&#039;obtenir de nombreuses informations pr\u00e9cieuses que nous int\u00e9grerons dans la prochaine version des principes directeurs. Notre plan est de travailler au sein de la cohorte des communications pour \u00e9laborer une r\u00e9solution finale qui pourra \u00eatre adopt\u00e9e par l&#039;ensemble de l&#039;organisation par le biais d&#039;une r\u00e9solution du conseil d&#039;administration lors de la r\u00e9union du conseil d&#039;administration d&#039;octobre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Progr\u00e8s de l&#039;\u00e9valuation des performances<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">During the StratPlan Faire, Amy gave an all-team presentation on <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1kbT22GVGMgrSjaokavpJn_yEU6kcJiY6Vq00Syf67D4\/edit?ts=5ceeb942\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WESTAF\u2019s Performance Management process<\/span><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">moving forward. We will have a rough budget by the end of June and will be able to nail down staff salaries at that time. Therefore, it makes more sense to hold off on the &#8220;transition&#8221; review process until August when that information is known. The staff will plan on conducting transitional reviews in mid to late August. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Treia-pXf_ZlG4H3rEn0eVOnuchWN71DCRVvxIK33Eg\/edit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This document<\/span><\/a> is the best outline of what will be covered in these meetings (which includes telling them their new salary, bonus and discuss changes to their job description), there are some purple updates since the StratPlan Faire. A custom document to sign during these reviews will be prepared, where the basics of the new performance management process is outlined along with individual compensation, and value of all benefits as an annual snapshot of total compensation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Progr\u00e8s budg\u00e9taires pour l&#039;exercice 2020<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">L&#039;\u00e9quipe WESTAF est maintenant en train de mettre en place le processus de budg\u00e9tisation de l&#039;exercice 2020. Une fois que nous aurons la premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de chiffres de tous les d\u00e9partements, le document sera fig\u00e9 en tant que version 1. Apr\u00e8s cela, l&#039;\u00e9quipe de direction travaillera sur d&#039;autres versions et ajustements avec les chefs de projet individuels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Transition du personnel<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Je viens d&#039;apprendre que Matt Virlee, responsable des solutions technologiques, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sa d\u00e9mission. Matt faisait partie de notre petite \u00e9quipe technologique (trois personnes) et il nous manquera. Son dernier jour est le 16 juin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Sommet G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Rurale<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Chrissy Deal and I were joined by Hunter Old Elk (Cody, WY and ELC17) and Tey Marianna Nunn (former trustee and current MAC member) in Mississippi May 22-24 for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ruralgeneration.org\/national-summit\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sommet G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Rurale<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">. The convening brought together cultural and community leaders from across the country to explore the various identities, opportunities and realities of rural America. The WESTAF delegation had the opportunity to connect with folks from various organizations and communities from across the country, including NASAA, several of our fellow RAOs, other state arts agencies and national organizations. The &#8220;roving plenaries&#8221; format meant attendees had a chance to see and directly experience rural places, including <a href=\"http:\/\/sippculture.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sipp Culture<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindscc.edu\/locations-facilities\/Utica-campus\/index#gsc.tab=0\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hinds Community College Utica Campus<\/span><\/a>, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in Utica, MS. We listened, we shared, we felt the humidity, we ATE! One of the considerations the conference brought into focus for the WESTAF contingent was the varied dimensions of the rural West. Chrissy looks forward to following up with new contacts and connecting with Tey and Hunter to help inform WESTAF&#8217;s engagement with rural communities in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Le projet SAAPAD est en cours.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Today (June 3) and Tomorrow (June 4), SAAPAD (our annual State Arts Agency and Performing Arts Consortia Professional Development Session) is meeting here in Denver. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1vMAIENHueMrCePXTyGtxk0ZkAFj47_JRN4Ru20K9NdE\/edit?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s the complete agenda<\/span><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">for the convening. In July, I\u2019ll be heading to Honolulu to spend time with trustee Jonathan Johnson and to present to Hawaii&#8217;s SFCA board and attend further meetings, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.festivalofpacificarts.com\/about-festpac-2020\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FESTPAC<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">leadership. In August, I will be joining trustee Karen Hanan in Yakima and Tieton, WA to offer a presentation at an ArtsWA commissioners meeting. In addition, there is an Anchorage visit in development for August to coincide with the visit of Mary Anne Carter from the Endowment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Mise \u00e0 jour sur l&#039;Arizona<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">La semaine derni\u00e8re, un budget de 11,8 milliards de dollars pour l&#039;exercice 2020 a \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 par l&#039;Assembl\u00e9e l\u00e9gislative de l&#039;\u00c9tat de l&#039;Arizona et sign\u00e9 par le gouverneur Doug Ducey, qui comprenait 2,2 millions de dollars consacr\u00e9s aux arts en Arizona. Nous avons \u00e9galement constat\u00e9 une augmentation de 101 000 THB depuis le d\u00e9but de l&#039;exercice 2019 du nombre de profils d&#039;artistes actifs. Nous continuons \u00e0 proposer des paiements EFT \u00e0 un groupe restreint de clients ; ces paiements ont totalis\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 14 000 000 THB au cours de cet exercice. Si vous n&#039;\u00eates pas encore inscrit pour recevoir des paiements EFT et que vous le souhaitez, veuillez me le faire savoir et je m&#039;en chargerai. Enfin, l&#039;\u00e9quipe \u00e9value la viabilit\u00e9 d&#039;une int\u00e9gration avec Jaspersoft, une plateforme de reporting et d&#039;analyse. Ce logiciel peut nous permettre de cr\u00e9er, r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer et pr\u00e9senter facilement des rapports avec les donn\u00e9es de ZAPP, des rapports et des outils de business intelligence qui peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s en interne et en externe pour nos clients. Une int\u00e9gration avec une plateforme comme celle-ci est plus souhaitable que la cr\u00e9ation de nos propres rapports \u00e0 partir de z\u00e9ro en raison de la raret\u00e9 des ressources de d\u00e9veloppement et du d\u00e9lai n\u00e9cessaire pour mener \u00e0 bien un tel projet. Cependant, nous \u00e9valuons encore les avantages et le co\u00fbt de cette int\u00e9gration. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Christian OOTO<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">En conclusion, je serai en vacances du jeudi 13 juin au mercredi 19 juin, puis j&#039;assisterai au sommet CPL \u00e0 Los Angeles du 20 au 23 juin, puis je me rendrai \u00e0 Sacramento la semaine suivante, avant de retourner \u00e0 San Francisco le week-end suivant pour un mariage.
