The meeting opened with a dinner at the historic Brown Palace Hotel that all WESTAF staff were invited to attend in order to build and deepen authentic relationships <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">between trustees and staff. The meeting also <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">included a gallery session, a \u201cscience fair\u201d-style gathering designed to strengthen trustee and staff connections as we move ahead with our 10-year <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westaf.org\/westaf\/strategy\/\">strategic plan<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">During the hour-long session, trustees visited six separate tables representing WESTAF\u2019s departments and divisions, where they learned about each team\u2019s work priorities in a fun and friendly way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Multicultural Advisory Committee sa Transition to Equity and Inclusion Committee<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Ang isa pang natatanging elemento ng pulong ng lupon sa Oktubre ay isang pangkalahatang-ideya at pagkilala sa gawain ng Multicultural Advisory Committee ng WESTAF sa nakalipas na 20 taon. Itinuro ng Committee Chair at board Vice Chair na si Teniqua Broughton ang mga tagapangasiwa sa ilang mahahalagang milestone sa pagkakaiba-iba, pagsasama, at paglalakbay ng WESTAF. Jazz Road facilitates support to American touring musicians, specifically in the jazz genre. GO Smart services were offered free of charge to South Arts to administer the grant application, run a panel review, and collect final reports. Thirty-one <a href=\"https:\/\/jazzroad.southarts.org\/touring-grants\/jazz-road-tours-grant-recipients\/\">artists<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">were granted nearly $360,000 in the initial round of funding, with the next cycle of touring support as well as a new initiative supporting residencies launching in early 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>2020 Advocacy Funds at Executive Directors Forum<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">WESTAF\u2019s Alliances team is working on the launch of the fiscal year 2020 State Advocacy Funds program in the coming weeks and is planning the upcoming Executive Director Forum, which will take place this January in Reno. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Each state in the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">WESTAF <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">region is eligible to receive funds to support annual state-level advocacy activities. WESTAF also convenes the executive directors of the state arts agencies in the West through a forum each year to discuss issues in the field, share knowledge and practice, and consider ways to increase support for these agencies. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">Also in the works is a strategy for supporting federal advocacy activities in 2020, which will soon be announced to partners in western states.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Inilabas ng CaF\u00c9 ang Mga Pinasimpleng Plano sa Pagpepresyo<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">CaF\u00c9, WESTAF\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">call for entry application management program for the arts, <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">recently released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.callforentry.org\/how-it-works\/pricing\/\">two simple pricing plans<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">along with new add-on services, making it <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">even more budget-friendly for small and large arts organizations. CaF\u00c9\u2019s promotional email service continues to grow in popularity\u2014the add-on service sends an email to artists on behalf of the participating call, reaching an <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">audience of over 190,000 artists.
