WESTAF continues to revise the COVID-19 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westaf.org\/westaf-covid-19-update\/\">Update<\/a> <span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">y <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westaf.org\/covid-19-resources-information\/\">Recursos<\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">web pages on our website, and a <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/19Xmuy4RHpgLLqGVDxUnr7dJ_DBbV4bzunh2kGye5nZg\/edit#slide=id.g826c6e3bd4_0_1177\">presentation\/briefing<\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">is updated weekly, providing deeper insights on state-by-state responses to the impact of COVID-19 on the creative sector. Nearly 800 responses were received for the WESTAF COVID-19 Arts Impact Survey, and final survey findings show <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">that artists, arts nonprofits, and creative businesses (like design firms, galleries, and photography studios) are facing significant financial challenges from the COVID crisis with limited levels of savings or reserves. Conditions for artists and organizations may worsen as these savings and reserves are depleted. The survey also presents encouraging data that shows that arts nonprofits and creative businesses are by-and-large protecting jobs by avoiding layoffs, but it is unclear how long this protection can be sustained. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">A full survey report is forthcoming.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\"><b>Fondo de ayuda WESTAF CARES para organizaciones<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #333333;\">El Fondo de ayuda WESTAF CARES para organizaciones abri\u00f3 el 6 de mayo y cerr\u00f3 el 11 de mayo, ya que alcanz\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente su capacidad m\u00e1xima. The CVI is a statistical metric of creative activity per capita within a region. The Index includes data sources from the nonprofit and for-profit arts sectors with indicators in creative occupations, nonprofit revenues, and creative industry sales.
