Organizations will collaborate with lead consultant Chrissy Deal, who brings more than 20 years of nonprofit, education, and philanthropic experience. Deal serves on the Board of Trustees at the Denver Foundation, where she is a member of the Executive Committee and past chair of its Leadership & Equity committee, whose purpose is to advance racial equity by acknowledging and dismantling the historical, systemic and societal context of privilege and oppression. Deal is also a long-time community volunteer and alumna of Denver\u2019s Circle of Latina Leadership, as well as a founding member of Denver\u2019s first Latina women\u2019s giving circle, LatinasGive! From October 11 through November 14, WESTAF will host an arts administrator from Lviv, Ukraine. Bozhena Zakaliuzhna is one of ten ArtsLink Fellows who are participating in CEC ArtsLink\u2019s 2018 residency program<\/a><\/span>. Zakaliuzhna will reside in downtown Denver during her residency and will connect with various friends of WESTAF throughout the city and region. Her residency will include meetings and short-term, hands-on learning opportunities with the Denver Art Museum, Denver Botanic Gardens, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, Levitt Pavilion and the ArtGym, among others. Zakaliuzhna will also accompany WESTAF Executive Director Anthony Radich and other staff at selected regional meetings and events.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
