Hallo! Es ist viel los, auch einige Leute durchlaufen einen \u00dcbergang. Der <\/span>January cash summary<\/span><\/a> is available to view. A line was added towards the bottom (line 39) to calculate the income and expense for this year without the Mellon subawards. We are on track with income and expense at around 30% for both (removing Mellon). Similar to last month, the total income from the software business without ZAPP is very similar to last year\u2019s total. This is a good sign that the businesses are continuing despite the pandemic. A note that the 2nd PPP loan was received in February so that is not included in the January cash summary.<\/span><\/p>\n

This Wednesday and Thursday, WESTAF will host the Arts Leadership and Advocacy Seminar Online. Beginning with a welcome by Tamara, Christian, and David that will be broadcast in the virtual lobby at 8:30am on Wednesday 2\/24, the program will include four sessions over two days featuring 12 panelists. Members of the Policy Cohort will be moderating the participant Q&A portion in each of these sessions. So far, we\u2019ve received 91 registrations for the event. On March 11, David, Professor Doug Noonan of Indiana University, George Tzougros, executive director of Wisconsin Arts Board, and Karen Mittleman, executive director of the Vermont Arts Council, will join NASAA staff for a discussion of the findings of the Arts and Economy Recovery research project and strategies for state arts agencies to pursue to connect the creative sector to state economic recovery efforts. This will be the first of <\/span>NASAA\u2019s 2021 Learning Series<\/span><\/a> for their state arts agency members, which replace their in person NASAA Assembly. The speakers and the NASAA team participated in a planning session for the webinar on 2\/20.<\/span><\/p>\n

WESTAF hat Dankesbriefe an die Sponsoren des Gesetzesentwurfs HR 133, der zum j\u00fcngsten Hilfspaket des Bundes wurde, geschickt, darunter auch an den Kongressabgeordneten Sherman aus Kalifornien. WESTAF hat au\u00dferdem eine Vorlage f\u00fcr Briefe erstellt, die Mitglieder des Western Arts Advocacy Network (WAAN) ihren Kongressabgeordneten auf der Grundlage ihrer Abstimmungsergebnisse zum Gesetzentwurf schicken k\u00f6nnen. WESTAF collaborated with other Cultural Advocacy Group members on drafting <\/span>The Arts Sector and COVID-19 Relief<\/span><\/i><\/a>, a recently released two-page statement outlining opportunities for the arts to be supported in the latest COVID-19 relief package currently under consideration in Congress. This statement builds on similar messages delivered by the arts sector in 2020. Please feel welcome to complete the <\/span>Sign-On Form<\/span><\/a> to indicate your organization\u2019s support for the statement if you feel it is appropriate. Endorsements will be collected on a rolling basis, and organizational names will be added to the document over time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Standort des Wandgem\u00e4ldes zum Frauenstimmrecht ausgew\u00e4hlt und Planungen im Gange (LM)<\/b><\/h2>\n

CNMI CARES RELIEF FUND-ZUSCH\u00dcSSE AN 12 K\u00dcNSTLER VERGEBEN (DH)<\/b><\/h2>\n

In der j\u00fcngsten Runde des CARES-Hilfsfonds f\u00fcr K\u00fcnstler und Organisationen des Commonwealth der N\u00f6rdlichen Marianen (CNMI) erhielten 12 K\u00fcnstler Zusch\u00fcsse zwischen $2.000 und $5.000, um die Wiederaufnahme ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen T\u00e4tigkeit nach Projekten und M\u00f6glichkeiten zu unterst\u00fctzen, die durch die Pandemie abgesagt wurden. In dieser Runde werden insgesamt $49.000 an K\u00fcnstler ausgezahlt. In fr\u00fcheren Runden haben wir drei Organisationen \u2013 500 Sails ($20.000), Mount Carmel School ($15.000) und Isla Montessori School ($15.000) \u2013 $50.000 gew\u00e4hrt. Insgesamt haben wir $99.000 (86% der verf\u00fcgbaren Zuschussmittel von $114.600) vergeben und es verbleiben $15.600 (14%). PERFORMING ARTS DISCOVERY (PAD) V2 PROGRAMMKONZEPT, EINGEREICHT BEIM NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS VON RAOS (DH)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Tim Wilson (Western Arts Alliance), Joy Young (South Arts), Adam Perry (Arts Midwest) und David trafen sich, um die Entwicklung des Performing Arts Discovery-Programms zu besprechen, und haben dem Partnerschaftsteam des Arts Endowment ein gemeinsames RAO-Programmkonzept vorgelegt, das sie im M\u00e4rz dem National Council on the Arts (ihrem Vorstand) vorlegen werden. STRATEGISCHER PLAN (NS)<\/b><\/h2>\n

The policy cohort is finalizing a date to meet with their Trustee Advisors in March. Some advisors have already begun reviewing the scoping doc, posing thoughtful questions to the group. Justine and Janae are attending Arts Leadership & Advocacy Seminar (ALAS) planning meetings and have determined the cohort will assist in the facilitation of the Q&A portion following each session. Session assignments were finalized at the cohort meeting on Thursday, February 18th, with ALAS taking place virtually on February 24th and 25th. The equity cohort sent an anonymous survey to staff to collect feedback for the creation of WESTAF’s value statement. Key words relating to the <\/span>strategic plan<\/span><\/a>‘s goals and objectives are being used to give staff more context around defining these equity based values. The survey will be open until next Friday, February 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

TECHNOLOGIE (AS)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Jeden Monat verbringt das Technologieteam zwei Tage damit, \u00fcber den vergangenen Monat nachzudenken und mit jedem Programm Ressourcen und Ma\u00dfnahmen f\u00fcr den n\u00e4chsten Monat zu planen. Innerhalb von GoSmart haben wir drei Probleme identifiziert, die sich auf die Erfahrung unseres Kunden und seiner Benutzer auswirken und behoben werden m\u00fcssen. Bis zum 8. Februar wurden 10 von 16 Clientsystemen auf das neueste Sammlungsverwaltungssystem migriert. An der neuen Clienterfahrung von CaFe arbeiten unser leitender Entwickler Jon Cantwell und das BRI-Team weiterhin flei\u00dfig.<\/span><\/p>\n

CAF\u00c9 (Wohnmobil)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Das Marketingteam hat am 17.02. eine Folgenachricht zur E-Mail-Kampagne der CaF\u00c9 Art Galleries an 273 Galerien gesendet und eine \u00d6ffnungsrate von 27% erhalten. CVSuite is working on closing two new sales, Nevada Arts Council and Arkansans for the Arts partnering with Cache Arts. Nevada has recently increased the value of their contract from two years to four years, for a final value of $22,400. We have a demo scheduled with Arkansas on March 1. We have a new sales lead for a project sponsored by Wayne State University and a continuation of <\/span>previous research<\/span><\/a> using CVSuite data published in the Journal of Urban Affairs. In other news, CVSuite will be pushing the code-grouping enhancement on schedule next week.<\/span><\/p>\n

GO SMART (JG)<\/b><\/h2>\n

PAA is also solidifying a proposal to host the virtual exhibition for Art of Recovery, a program organized by Santa Monica Cultural Affairs.<\/span><\/p>\n

ZAPP (Lebenslauf)<\/b><\/h2>\n

Wir stellen unsere Kunden weiterhin auf EFT um und verzeichnen nach einer geringf\u00fcgigen \u00c4nderung des Einladungs-\/Anmeldevorgangs im Februar eine noch bessere Antwortrate als im Januar.
